River Eels Welcome Tracy Chevrolet as Dugout Sponsor PDF Print E-mail
PLYMOUTH - The Plymouth River Eels are proud to announce Tracy Chevrolet of Plymouth as the “home team” dugout sponsor for their inaugural professional independent baseball season.

As a valued sponsor, the Tracy Chevrolet name and logo will be prominently displayed on top of the River Eels dugout throughout the entire season. The family-owned car dealer’s sponsorship is the first in an extensive list of area businesses supporting America’s pastime in America’s hometown.

“Having Tracy Chevrolet as a long-term business partner is a perfect match for both organizations,” said Tom O’Brien, President and CEO of Bay Colony Baseball and Athletics, the River Eels parent company. “The mission of both the River Eels and Tracy Chevrolet is to offer the community an exciting, quality product - as part of a family-oriented organization.”

Through the Tracy Chevrolet and Cadillac location in Plymouth and their Tracy Hyannis Audi and Volkswagen location, the Tracy family has been selling cars and trucks for over 80 years. But as Jeff Tracy, General Manager of Tracy Chevrolet and also a Plymouth resident explains, “As active members of the community, we’re much more than just cars and trucks.”

The Plymouth Chevrolet dealership is widely known for sponsoring various community activities and events. Since it opened its doors fifteen years ago, Tracy Chevrolet has sponsored numerous youth programs in Plymouth schools and with area sports teams, as well as the Boys and Girls Clubs. “Tracy Chevrolet has long been an outstanding member of the Plymouth community.” said Mike Rothberg, COO of the Plymouth River Eels “We look forward to having Tracy Chevrolet as a part of our first season and for many seasons to come.”
