BASEBALL CLINIC The baseball clinic will be an overview session to help youngsters prepare for the upcoming season. Among our instructors will be baseball professionals Jason LaRocque, Devon Teeple, and Brian Trupiano.
LaRocque was the captain of the Harvard baseball team and helped lead the Crimson to three consecutive Ivy League Championships and a trio of NCAA Regional berths. Jason worked in the scouting department of the Boston Red Sox and participated as a coach in Major League Baseball's International Envoy program, working with amateur and professional players in China and Japan. He has also coached with Headfirst Baseball. Jason was the bullpen catcher for the Boston Red Sox in 2005 and 2006. Teeple was a standout pitcher for York College in Nebraska and was named 1st team All Conference in the MCAC and was York's College Athlete of the Year. Along with leading the York College Panthers in games played, games started, innings pitched, strike outs, (1997-2001) and Wins and ERA, (2001), "Devo" became the first York College Panther to sign a professional contract, signing with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League in 2001. The southpaw pitched for the Grizzlies as well as the River City Rascals. Trupiano grew up around baseball and the broadcast booth, and played at Eastern Connecticut State University and at Rhode Island College. Brian participated in Steve Buckley's Old Time Baseball Game in Cambridge in 2001-04 and played professionally with the Brockton Rox of the Can-Am League. River Eels merchandise , including official game jerseys, leather seam bracelets, hats, and t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.

For more information, check them out at www.auctionpal.com ![]() Alberts played four years at Boston College and was twice named Hockey East First Team All Conference and First Team East All American. He played on Team USA in World Championships in 2006 and 2007. Andrew was the Bruins' sixth round draft pick in 2001 and joined the team in 2005. Alberts, a solid defender, is regarded as the Bruins' hardest hitter and led the team last season in penalty minutes. Alberts has been on the injured list since December with post concussion syndrome, and is expected to start working out with the team shortly. ![]()
