PLYMOUTH RIVER EELS Announce Mascot Contest

mascotposterthumb2.jpgThe River Eels need your help in finding our Mascot!

If you are creative and you love baseball and can’t wait for our new ball club, we have room for you on our team. All you need to do is create our mascot! Come up with a character that best represents the excitement of the new baseball team, the area, or New England, and you could be the recipient of a fantastic River Eels “Home Run” Prize Pack, including River Eels merchandise, meeting our new mascot up close and personal, and more.

Choose a name for your idea. If you want, include a story, a picture or drawing, or anything else that tells us about your creation. It's that easy. Be creative! Be funny! This is your time in the spotlight to create baseball history!

The winner will share the stage with our mascot at a special appearance in the classroom, at a little league game, at a scout meeting, or wherever you would like to introduce your friends to the new River Eels mascot. The class or team or group will be treated like baseball royalty as we present each person with a great River Eels prize at the visit.

Submissions must be received by June 30 and include your full name, address, age, phone number. All submissions received become sole property of the Bay Colony Baseball and Athletics LLC. See rules for complete details.

“The mascot is an important part of every team and its relationship to its fans, especially the children,” said Chuck Nilosek, River Eels’ Director of Game Day Operations. “We plan on using our new mascot in many different programs throughout our community as well as at the ballpark.” Click here to read the complete contest rules.
